A WOMAN HAS SUED WINFREY'S HARPO STUDIOS
A woman who attended an April taping of The Oprah Winfrey Show has sued Winfrey's Harpo Studios, alleging that she was shoved down a flight of stairs as other guests rushed for seats.
Tanya Milner claimed in her lawsuit, which is $50,000, that she suffered "sever and permanent injuries" as a result of her fall, which allegedly occurred after audience members were told they could seat themselves, causing a frenzied scramble in which she was knocked off balance.
Because of the studio's alleged negligence, she claimed she was unable to attend to her "usual duties and affairs of life," and "will in the future continue to suffer pain and suffering and disability."
Harpo Studios had no comment on the lawsuit. As for Winfrey, herself, we're guessing she has other matters on her mind.
