THE MOVIE REVIEW OF "DREAMGIRLS"

Now if you haven't seen "Dreamgirls" then you are missing ONE OF THE HOTTEST FILMS that's out. Just to tell you a little, but not to much, about the film. It's based on a Broadway Musical that shows the struggles of family and how the waves of water brung them back to shore.

Effie White (Jennifer Hudson) was excellent. I wouldn't change anything. The struggles that she went through and the pain she felt would've made a weak person quit. (Which I think is based on Florance Ballard's life but with a happy ending.)

Curtis Taylor Jr. (Jamie Foxx) who ended up managing the group, along with other things, snaked his way in the family tree. (Which I think is based on Barry Gordy's life, just not the whole story.)

Deena Jones (Beyonce Knowles) also played an excellent role of Curtis' wife. She started out a member of the group and became the lead singer of it. (Which is based on Diana Ross' life, again with a twisted story.)

James “Thunder” Early (Eddie Murphy), a womanizer, which was still married but found himself in a love triangle. (Which I think is based on Jackie Wilson's life, of course leaving a few things out.)

Lorrell Robinson (Anika Noni Rose) the third singer that no one seems to talk about. But in my opinion she can roll with the best of them. (Which I think was Mary Wilson.)

Also in the movie was Danny Glover (James Early's manager), Keith Robinson and Bobby Slayton.

THE WORST DAY OF MY LIFE...... (ITS DEEP BUT A TRUE STORY)

Someone emailed me a True Story. They wanted to reach the readers in a different way and maybe touch the lives of the ones that are going through it now. This is a true story of a man that was in his own neighborhood when the unthinkable happened..... Which made revenge sweet...

On one sunny day in July 1993, I was in the hood I that I grew up in, just kickin it with my boys drinking beer. I always came back to the hood because that's where my real ni#$as were. So I thought!

One of my boys told me he was selling his year old Corvette ZR1 and I was on it. I really liked that car! It was a drop top and he knew I had that type of cash to buy it.

I told him, "I have to make a few runs" but I'll be back in the hood around six to check the car out.

I met him at his house to look at the car and while we were there 2 old school Buicks pull up. He walked over to one of them and starts to converse with the driver. I didn't know these guy's so I just continued to look at the Corvette.

After I was done, I looked at my boy and said "How much you gonna sell it to me for?"

Then he said "Come here! I want you to meet my Ni##a."

I walked over to the car, where he was standing not thinking "my boy" would put me in any danger, and the driver pulled a gun out and said, "Where is the money?" Then my so called boy, hit me in the head with a pole!

I tried my best to run, but I was to dazed by the blow from the pole. When I fell the 2 car loads of Ni#%a's just started beating me with bats, guns, fists, and poles saying " Where's the money."

There was one problem... I didn't bring any money! They beat me for over 20 minutes and left me for dead all covered in my own blood.

In my own hood!.... I thought I was safe in my hood! Stay tuned for tomorrow's blog and read THE REVENGE !!! This is my true story of my life. I just wanted to get a little personal with the readers of my favorite blogger. If you think that was bad just wait for the rest of my story.

BRITNEY SPEARS AND PARIS HILTON TIED for the "ANNUAL WORST DRESSED"

The dynamic dual, Britney Spears and Paris Hilton tied at the No. 1 spot of the Blackwell's "Worst Dressed List".

"Two peas in an overexposed pod," Blackwell said of the skimpy attire worn by the two celebutantes he called the "Screamgirls."

But the worst was said about Camilla Parker-Bowles, a member of the British royal family, which came in at No. 2.

"The Duchess of Dowdy strikes again," wrote Blackwell. "In feathered hats that were once the rage, she resembles a petrified parakeet from the Jurassic age. A royal wreck."

Blackwell, no longer an active designer but still a critic of celebrity fashion, aimed his poison pen at young entertainer Lindasy Lohan.

At No. 3 was Lindsay Lohan, scolded by Blackwell for turning "from adorable to deplorable."

And look who fell at No. 4, Christina Aguilera was also in Blackwell's fashion hall of shame. He called her a "dazzling singer" but then added she "puts good taste through the wardrobe wringer. All crass and no class."

He referred to Mariah Carey as "Mariah the fashion pariah ... the queen of catastrophic kitsch," and "American Idol" judge Paula Abdul as "a fallen fashion idol."

Then he barks at Sharon Stone, which comes in at No. 7, saying she resembles "an over-the-hill Cruella DeVille," and Tori Spelling, No. 8, embodies "down and out in Beverly Hills."

At No. 9, "Grey's Anatomy" star Sandra Oh was faulted for too many beads and bangles. "She's layered lunacy from head to toe," Blackwell said.

Meryl Streep, who starred in the movie, "The Devil Wears Prada," came in at No. 10 on the annual dis-list.

"From Streep you could weep," Blackwell said. "Her beauty of a career cannot be denied, but that beast of a wardrobe is pure mother of the bride."

Jan. 9, 2007 in Beijing, Jennifer Aniston announced she is thinking of adopting. After the divorce with Brad and recent break up with Vince leaves Jennifer rethinking her priorties. Her and Brad talked about adoption when Angelina Jolie adopted her frist child.
