Northwest Airlines and Delta Air Lines have had talks about merging, and some airline experts said such a marriage makes sense, The Wall Street Journal reported

It took "The View" to say something that I agree with. The government needs to come up with a better plan other than sending these 18 & 19 yr old children to War. The world is out of CONTROL!!

ABC News reports from BAGHDAD, Iraq, Jan. 10, 2007 — President Bush's speech may be scheduled for tonight, but the troop surge in Iraq is already under way.

ABC News has also learned that the "surge" Bush is expected to announce in a prime time speech tonight has already begun. Ninety advance troops from the 82nd Airborne Division arrived in Baghdad Wednesday.

An additional Est. of 800 troops from the same division are expected to arrive in Baghdad Thursday. Eighty percent of the sectarian violence occurs within a 30-mile radius of Baghdad, so that is where most of the additional troops will be concentrated.

It is the first small wave of troops in a new White House strategy that is expected to put more than 20,000 additional U.S. troops on the ground in Iraq and likely require new call-ups of the National Guard.

The president is expected to deliver his announcement about the troop increase, a plan that has already met with stiff criticism from many members of Congress, in a speech tonight from the White House.

The arrival of additional forces in Iraq comes a day after leading Democrats said they would back legislation that would block funding to pay for additional military forces.

THE REVENGE PT 1 (THE TRUE STORY CONT...)

There I was in a puddle of blood thinking to myself "why me." Just image being beat upside your head with bats and poles! I thought this was gonna be my last day on earth. I tried knocking on doors to get some help but I couldn't seem to find anyone.

I went on the side of someone's house and found a water hose and started to rinse the blood from my face and that's when I spotted one of my boys from the hood and said, "Stan help!"

He ran over to me in a panic to help me and he asked "What happened?"

I told him I was set up by our boy, so he left me there and went to call 911. You see this was 1993 and everybody didn't have cell phones. Once again I was in Detroit and the EMS took an hour to get to me, so I just laid there very weak with blood just flowing out of my head until the EMS got to me.

By then I started feeling weird, because I was going into shock. "Oh Lord, please spare me!"

I get to the hospital and they rush to the back in a room in the ER. I didn't know that for head trama they just let you lay there and bleed until it stops on it's own. I was in so much pain and no matter what pain killer they gave me. Nothing seemed to work! All night they did x-rays, cat scans and mri's. They told me that my cheek and jawbone on the left was shattered like glass.
